Free is one household of your own, for two people. Entries, splits, categories, month close, settling up, search and export are unlimited, and the ledger is kept forever.

Receipt scanning works from a bank of 5 scans. One scan refills every 2 days, and a scan that fails is given back. Receipt photos are kept 56 days.

Trips are free too: one active at a time, up to 5 people, and each stops taking new expenses 90 days after it starts. Settling up stays open.

Free will not shrink. Features added later may go to the paid plans, and what is listed here stays on Free.

EvenHearth Plus has no limit on people in a household (within fair use), unlimited receipt scans, receipt photos kept with the entry, unlimited trips, projects, recurring bills with reminders, budgets, and charts over time.

Founders is two years for the price of one. It is billed once every two years and then renews at the same plan's yearly price. Only 100 Founders subscriptions will be sold, and only on the web.

A household gets 6 weeks of EvenHearth Plus when its owner finishes the getting-started tour or it records its first shared expense, whichever comes first. You enter no card, and nothing is charged unless you buy a plan. When the trial ends, the household carries on under Free.

Cancel under Manage billing on the Plan screen. You keep the plan until the end of the period you paid for. A yearly or Founders plan gets an email 30 to 50 days before it renews, with the date and the price.

If a plan ends, everything you recorded stays readable and exportable, and settling up and month close keep working. The Subscriptions and refunds page has the rest.
