Trips
Split trip costs with friends
A trip gets a ledger of its own. It closes and settles up apart from your household’s month, and it can include people who are not in your household.
Friends join the trip, not your household
Add the people who are going, friends from outside your household included. Everyone on the trip can add what they paid. A guest sees that trip and nothing else in your household.

Even by default, your way if you like
A trip does not borrow your household’s split. Four friends divide evenly unless someone says otherwise. If Celine covers 40%, say so, and the other three share what is left. Every screen uses names, so you always see who owes Celine and who owes Kyle.
Settle up when the trip ends
A trip settles up when it ends, not at month end. As in the household, you pay each other outside the app and both sides confirm the payment. A project, like a renovation, rides the monthly close instead.
Trips are free. On Free you can run one at a time with up to 5 people, and each stops taking new expenses 90 days after it starts. Plus has no limit on trips or people.
